Thanks for the question. Apparently Guerba will pair you with another traveller in a twin with no cost. Got this from their site as well

"Over 90% of our tours do not charge a single supplement, which is one aspect that makes them popular with individual travellers. We twin individuals with those of the same gender and age range and, where that is not possible, we still don't charge a supplement. For the small proportion of tours where there is a single supplement then we tell you clearly. And if you actually want a single room, then ask us!"

I checked out the Guerba website, but the prices on all the tours I looked at were "based on twin share". Has their solo-friendly policy changed?

It can be really hard to enjoy some holidays solo. I think that can even be more true for us girls, especially in some places. So when I wanted a holiday that was well out of the ordinary, I decided to go to a country I knew had equal rights and respect for women - America.

Maybe that doesn't sound adventurous to you, but I have to say that being a girl solo on a Dude Ranch adventure holiday was fantastic fun. I think it made the holiday all the more special for the guys there too. Gave them all a chance to call me "Ma'am" and tip their hats. Ha!

Those cowboys are very polite to the ladies, and I had the time of my life.
I booked my trip from American Sky in the UK
http://www.americansky.co.uk/Ranching_Adventure-holiday-types.htm
I'm sure there are many other companies that must do this too, but that's the one I used.

So, to any wannabe CowGirls out there, I think you can have the time of your life on a Dude Ranch, not least from watching all the fellas showing off at times. A great laugh, and something I want to do again.
