How it works
- Send an email with your travel photo attached to solotravelcontest [at] gmail.com - please explain where the picture was taken and why it's so special to you.
- All Entries must be received by January 31st 2011 (midnight GMT)
- The winner will be notified and announced within the first week of February 2011 and the best collection of other photos as well as the winning entry will be showcased on the solotravel website.
What we are looking for...
We are looking for any travel related photo.
However you will be awarded extra credit if you can somehow encapsulate the spirit of solo travel and it is up to you how to interpret this through photography.

1st Prize: Intrepid Travel's Golden Triangle trip in India
2nd Prize: £100 voucher towards an Intrepid trip
3rd Prize : £50 voucher towards an Intrepid trip

Contest Terms and Conditions
Participants agree to the following Terms & Conditions from Solotravel.org
1. Have fun. Be adventurous with your photos.
2. Grand prize winner will be awarded the Intrepid trip 'The Golden Triangle'
3. £100 for 2nd prize and £50 for 3rd prize are in the form of vouchers. Vouchers may be used against any Intrepid group trip over £500 in value, with travel validity until 31 Jan 2012.
4. Participant acknowledges that she/he holds the sole copyright of any articles and photos submitted.
5. Participant agrees to allow submitted photos to be posted on the Solotravel.org website.
6. Prizes are non-transferable and Solotravel.org will make the choice of prize for each winner.
7. Prizes are not redeemable for cash or exchange.
Intrepid'sTerms and Conditions
Winner agrees to the following Terms & Conditions from Intrepid Travel:
1. The main prize to be awarded is for one person to travel on the Golden Triangle India itinerary (HSN), valued at £480. Travel must commence before Jan 2012
2. The prize is the ‘land only' Intrepid tour and does not include international airfares, any taxes, travel insurance, travel visas, passports, any additional meals and additional accommodation or spending money which are the full responsibility of the prize winner.
3. The prizes are not transferable.
4. The prizes are not redeemable for cash or exchange.
5. The prize is subject to the standard rules and regulations of travel with Intrepid Travel. Refer to the Intrepid brochure or visit Intrepid Travel's Booking Conditions page for more details.
6. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or special offers.
7. Prize is in the trust of solotravel.org, c/o Anthony Page, Editor Solotravel
8. Prize will be awarded to recipient by Solo travel. Winner's name will be provided to Intrepid Travel.
9. The trip is subject to availability and confirmation by Intrepid Travel and trip booking must be made with Intrepid Travel.
